We have a hidden treasure here in town in the local Candy Store Factory Outlet, they make the candy that's sold in the Colonial area store front. But they have so much more than just candy. All kinds of gourmet foods and organic goodies all at way discounted prices! I stopped today...while out yard sailing. During the summer they sell caramel apples (the same they sell down town for $5) today they had them for $1.50 ( usually they're $2.99) It's the best local caramel . One makes a yummy treat for the girls and I . I was so happy and delighted to find TATE chocolate chip cookies for sale, 2 bags for $3, especially since I was joyfully surprised to see them last week in my local The Fresh Market and I paid over $4 a bag for them. We just got introduced to these delicious cookies while we where visiting friends in the South Hampton's NY two weeks ago and we stopped at the bakery! The outlet can carry things that are out of date.( and that is factored in it to the very low prices they offer)..so I always check...but these bags where good thru Nov 2012, and they had tons, Yippee!! Specially since I don't like to bake much during the summer. Lastly, I got 4 Panda raspberry licorices for a $1 ( my favorite movie theater treat) .All total with tax I spent $5.64!!!
